Man erwartet bei weitem keine Gourmet Küche, aber eine gewisse Grundhygiene muss man doch erwarten dürfen? Nachdem bei ihr Lungenkrebs diagnostiziert wurde, haben wir uns entschieden die Behandlung in der Ruhrlandklinik fortzusetzen, da man in dieser Klinik am besten aufgehoben sei, Top Ärzte vor Ort seien etc. Meine Mama wurde auf der Starion S3 unter der Leitung von Herrn Dr. Eberhard behandelt. Das Pflegepersonal war auch dort wie in vielen Kliniken unterbesetzt, teilweise überfordert aber insgesamt freundlich. Ich konnte in den mehreren Monaten Herrn Oberarzt Eberhard insgesamt 2 mal sprechen. Die Situation meiner Mutter hat sich von Woche zu Woche so massiv verschlechtert und ich konnte selbst in akut Situationen den behandelnden Arzt nicht erreichen und dieser hat sich auch nicht zurückgemeldet, obwohl es hieß, dass das passieren wird. Natürlich ist mir bewusst, dass das mal paar Stunden oder Tage dauern kann, aber ich kann nicht nachvollziehen, dass man sich gar nicht meldet! Ich habe zuletzt im März 2022 versucht Herrn Eberhard zu sprechen, mehrfach betont das es ein Notfall ist und habe bis heute keinen Anruf erhalten. Mag sein das er kompetent ist, aber auf der menschlichen Ebene haben Sie voll und ganz versagt Herr Eberhard!!! Seine Sekretärin Frau Dreier ist nicht besser! Stets unfreundlich, man muss sich fast rechtfertigen und entschuldigen, dass man dort angerufen hat! Ich bin definitiv keine Angehörige die fordert oder erwartet hat, dass Herr Eberhard sofort reagieren soll. Natürlich haben wir in eine andere Klinik gewechselt, weil Eine Kommunikation mit dem behandelnden Arzt nahezu unmöglich war. Meine Mama ist am 26.05.2022 verstorben und ich bereue es zutiefst, dass wir diese Klinik damals aufgesucht habe. Sie wäre letztlich ohnehin verstorben, aber man hätte ihr vielleicht viel Leid ersparen können, wenn man genauer hingeschaut hätte. Abschließend kann ich Herrn Oberarzt Eberhard und seiner Sekretärin nur empfehlen sich etwas Menschlichkeit anzueignen. Der Patient ist hier nur eine Geldmaschiene und Nummer! ????

It's been almost 2 weeks now and I've already requested a call back and no one answers. I can't put any strength into it anymore and unfortunately I have to look for another clinic that at least makes an effort.

Ich muss meine Bewertung von damals überarbeiten! Ich habe in kürzester Zeit nach meiner Bewertung einen Termin bekommen.
Ich war nun dort, bin angekommen und unheimlich freundlich vom Personal aufgenommen worden. Die Pfleger/innen im Krankenhaus waren immer bemüht pünktlich zu den Anwendungen zu kommen und falls sie mal ein paar Minuten später kamen haben sie direkt bescheid gesagt vorher! Das Essen, ja gut - Krankenhaus. Da verlangt man auch kein 5 Gänge Menü. Der Mann, der den Nachtdienst betreut hat war sehr herzlich, freundlich, offen und voller Humor. Ich fühlte mich vollkommen wohl und ich muss sagen, dass ich vollkommen zufrieden nach Hause gegangen bin. Die gestellten Diagnosen sind nachvollziehbar.

Ich war beim Schlaflabor und hatte ein Erstgespräch. Dabei kam raus stationär aufgenommen zu werden... schön und gut dachte ich, es hieß dass die Sprechstundenhilfe mich anrufen würde. Nun sind bereits fast 2 Wochen vergangen und ich habe bereits um einen Rückruf angefordert und es meldet sich keiner. Ich stecke nun keine Kraft mehr hinein und muss mir leider eine andere Klinik suchen, die sich wenigstens Mühe gibt.

It should be noted, however, that the treatment is very thorough and individually tailored, always at eye level and with a good dose of empathy.

I can only warmly recommend this hospital (or the department), you feel very well looked after here.

Vorweg: ich beschreibe lediglich das Zentrum für Schlafmedizin, da ich nur dort einen Termin wahrnehmen musste.

Die Station ist wirklich außerordentlich sauber, manches 4**** Hotel kann sich hier eine Scheibe abschneiden. Das Personal - egal ob ärztlich, pflegerisch, hauswirtschaftlich - ist absolut freundlich, aufgeschlossen und sehr um einen bemüht. Es ist wohl war, dass man sehr lange auf einen Termin warten muss (in meinem konkreten Fall knappe 7 Monate), doch hier trägt der Träger keine Schuld, es gibt nunmal eine begrenzte Anzahl an Betten, die sich schlecht überschreiten lässt. Vor Ort werden alle administrativen Prozesse zügig und komplikationsarm behandelt, man hat keine langen Wartezeiten. Über das Behandlungsresultat kann ich derzeit nicht berichten, weiteres folgt. Anzumerken ist jedoch, dass die Behandlung sehr gründlich und auf einen individuell abgestimmt ist, stets auf Augenhöhe und mit einer ordentlichen Portion Empathie erfolgt.

Ich kann dieses Krankenhaus (bzw. die Abteilung) nur wärmstens empfehlen, hier fühlt man sich sehr gut aufgehoben.
