Excellent camping with very cosy sleeping pods (Campingfass). Very comfortable with heating and electricity. Service is great, very friendly. Location is also super practical, near S bahn station to Essen but also only 30 minutes by car from Düsseldorf and Wuppertal. Italian restaurant (trattoria da Giulia) at the entrance is excellent, but also many restaurants and shops in nearby Werden.

Very kind people, very clean bathrooms and plenty of hot water. We stayed in a camping pod because of cold nights and it was very cozy. Very close to public transport too!

A quite location. Close to city centre. Facilities were well maintained and looked good. Staff went out there way to help and make you feel welcome. I stayed on one of the busiest weekends of the year but I felt that the campsite was not over full and apart from a minor queue for toilets in the morning have nothing to complain about. Not quite a 5 star place but certainly recommendable for those staying in the area for a few nights.

We had a quick overnight here but everything was run smoothly, all facilities were good and it is a good re-visit is on my cards.

Excellent site will great rail connection s to Dusseldorf and Essen and then to the rest of Germany and Europe
