A must if you are nearby Essen, the best italian cuisine, pizza and a cozy atmosphere, very helpful staff. I come back every chance I get. A reservation is needed these days on their website or on the Resmio app

Officina is an authentic Italian restaurant. I had gnocchi with pesto genovese. The gnocchi and the pesto were home made and very fresh. The portion was large and the staff super friendly and patient. Moreover I had a glass white wine which was a little pricy but okay.

This is my favourite place in Essen. The food is delicious. During summer you can eat outside in the terrace and in winter the restaurant inside is really cozy. Totally recommendable
