Nice clean restaurant with great street veiw. The owner is really friendly and nice . The durum doner teller i ordered was really tasty and packed with flavor . The tomato and yoghurt sauce is freshly made and really elevated the dish . The doner roller is made with some tortilla like thingy with grilled turkish meat . The portion was really big and generous with a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

If you’re looking for positively the best Turkish food in all of Essen (DE) — look no further. Kaya’s checks all the boxes. The food is prepared fresh and cooked to sublime perfection. Daily specials only add to the appeal and the hospitality of everyone there is second to none. Freshness, variety, and sheer culinary prowess are most impressive. To round out the already delightful picture, the place is spotless. Cleanliness is at a level rarely observed at any property, in any location, and at any star-rating. Five stars all the way. Extremely bad service, I had to wait more than 30 min to get my takeout order, even though the restaurant was pretty empty!!!
Also rude staff, who ignore you just because they hace a customer that they know and kept making their food before the others (this lasted for 20 min after taking my order) and then they don't even apologize for being late!
Lastly, their manu is overpriced, for a restaurant who offers mostly Döner and Soups, the prices are more expensive then the typical restaurants who offer these things.
I don't recommend it at all

Would definitely prefer this restaurant over other Turkish places. Meals have perfect balance of spicyness and salt, tables and forks are hygienic, people there are cheerful. Incredibly delicious salads and rice, don't even need to mention how good kebap and doner were:):):)

It's a family owned place and all of them are very friendly and hospitable.

One of the best pides we have eaten including In turkey
