I recommend the entire menu, from their quiche to their croissant and omelettes, all homemade. All drinks can be made with various types of milk.
Staff is wonderful.

The best cafe in Essen.. cool staff and good service.
You feel home when you sit there and being surrounded with old vintage furniture, and books!

Unfortunately you can only pay with cash! (That’s something very bad in many places in Germany). The 5th start will be added when they start accepting the card option.

Just love that place. Few days ago we asked the owner to do video for our literature project. And he just opend the restaurant even an hour earlier for us. For sure me and my friends gonna be the regular customer there from now. Such nice cozy place with literature.
