Great location, very nice breakfast very friendly staff. However the room was in need of renovation. Especially the carpet and heating. Bathroom was tiny. All in all a bit overpriced

I love this hotel. I’m here now for the second time. The location is great, walking distance to restaurants and the main street here, but on a quiet street and surrounded by big beautiful trees (and a forest /park across the street with walking trails). The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I I needed some extra service (ice and extra pillows after some dental work) and it was carried out promptly and with a smile. (A young woman named Marina was particularly helpful). Lastly, the breakfast is amazing, don’t miss it! And the rates are very affordable.

On arrival the staff were really nice and the place was clean and tidy.

As you can see this is the room, the lights do not work and I personally think is abit to small for 2 people. There were 2 bottled sparkling water which I thought was nice.

The main door shuts at 10pm so you have to use the side door.

There are A lot of restaurants around only 15 minute walk. Not not even that. There was a good night life around to.

The hotel has a very nice view, and even though it is located next to a road, the nights are very silent. The food is great and the service as well, and the room was clear. I would gladly revisit the hotel.

Nice hotel. Rooms are a bit on the small side, but that's no problem if you're just there to sleep. Hotel is at a walking distance from some great restaurants in Essen, e.g. Eigelstein (German) and Officina (Italian).

Parking facility is a bit hard to find (its behind the hotel, but it's not clearly indicated), but spacious.

Wonderful staff. Very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great, beds we're great. We loved it

Very nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Excellent breakfast. Walking distance to Messe Essen. Good restaurants close by.
