I don't know if I got the wrong order or the pho over there is just an old dry egg noodles that is more expensive then 2 of the good old noodle box... Such a disappointment

This restaurant beats any Vietnamese restaurant I've eaten at. The Com Ga Hoi An packs such a flavor, I visited the next day to eat it again.

If you're in Essen, do yourself a favor and eat here.

It's a cute place, but it's not an autentic vietnamese reataurant. The owner is Cantonese chinese and the kitchen is a mix of vietnamese, chinese and thai food, with european style adaptations.

Well, as a Vietnamese who is craving for real Vietnamese dishes, this place is the one. I mean the atmosphere, cozy and familiar ( Hoi An is my favorite old city too), and the flavor is so on point ???????? every dish had been enough flavored so there’s no need to add another sauce.

There were 2 of us and we want to taste different dishes so we ordered some small portions in the first page of the menu (as I remember), with 2 separate bowls. In the 3rd photo I had:
Top left: thịt nướng (grilled pork)
top middle: gỏi đu đủ (raw papaya u0026 shrimp)
right: bò lá lốt (beef rolled in leaf) and nem rán (fried spring rolls?)
And 2 other dishes.
I was really satisfied, so was my sis ????????

The food was delicious and the people working there were so welcoming and polite. I can recommend the Phó soups!

Tried their freid rice, noodles and Thai curry. All were super delicious. Worth for money. Will surely come back.

Great place with nice Vietnamese food. The waiter barely speaks English but he makes a lot of effort to communicate with you and offers his help to translate the menu. The atmosphere reminds some places in Vietnam so nothing to complain about!
