Sadly, today was the last time I visited this bakery. It is a pity because I really love some of their products but I was not able to enjoy the food anymore after what happened today!

I live in the Netherlands and I used to go Essen to visit some friends. Every time I go to Essen this bakkery was a must go for me because I really love the Mohnstriezel and kirschstreusel that they sell there (and I can not find in another bakkery).

One of the employees there is really polite but the other old lady who works there is worse than terrible. As an owner of this place I would consider seriously to fire that lady if they want to keep their customers!!!

I came today 15-01-2022 directly from the Netherlands to Essen to get these pastries. For my surprise the employee who was there today at 12:15 had zero tolerance with the non-German speakers. She was angry, unpolite, extremely unpleasant, rude, really aggressive and she even yelled at me when I try to ask something to her! I don't know what is wrong with that lady but there are limits and she broke them all.
That woman is discharging her anger and frustration with the customers. Her behavior is totally unacceptable! What a disrespect to treat a customer on that way!!! Worse customer service ever!

Bei den beiden Bäckerei Ketten links und rechts von Schmitz standen schlangen von Menschen, da dachte ich gehe ich mal nach Schmitz da da kein Kunde im und vor Laden war.
