Long waiting time outside, but once we got in, the staff were all very friendly. We ordered a Miso Ramen + Fire Egg and a Teriyaki Don. I wouldn't say they were out of this world delicious but they had good prices (around 9-11 euros for the Ramen options).

Nice and simple Ramen place. Not your fancy place, but rather an unassuming one with a cozy, welcoming, authentic atmosphere. We were in Friday evening peak time, around 19:00, and lucky enough to find one of the last free tables. The staff is really nice and helpful, however it felt as if they were a bit overwhelmed. The Ramen is very tasty, and I do believe this place is as close as you can get in Essen to Düsseldorf's little Tokyo. Worth mentioning that they don't take reservations or card payments. So first come first served cash only place. Would anyway return to this place as it was a pleasure!

FOOD u0026 DRINKS
They offer Ramen in different flavors including some vegetarian options and famous Japanese snacks like Karaage or Gyoza. I wanted to try the spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. The broth was okay, not really spicy for the Asian tongue and I missed some more deep flavors. The noodles were a bit too soft for my taste and the charchiu lacked the smokiness. The soft boiled egg was really good.

SERVICE
We got one of the few last seatings and it felt like they only had one person taking orders. You might need some patience on a busy day but everyone was friendly and nice. They really try their best to mimic Japanese hospitality.

ATMOSPHERE
The restaurant looks and feels nice. It really delivers on the Japanese flair department.

RATING
If you can’t experience authentic Ramen in Düsseldorf this spot is a good alternative. They almost got the flavors but it was still a bit lacking. Taste is subjective anyway. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a slice of Japanese cuisine.

Found this little quaint ramen restaurant. Feels down to earth with some appetising menu displayed at the front of the store.

Friendly staff and very straight forward menu. We ordered the karaage miso ramen and the friend shrimps. All delicious and even finished the soup. I would return for another bowl of ramen.

Best Ramen I've had in Germany! Lots of vegetarian options too and delicious fresh lemonade!
