This delightful Café is family run. Delicious hot beverages, delicate teas, aromatic coffee, sweet chocolates. Home made cakes, tarts and treats, fresh and from local sources, enticing and mouth-wateringly tasty.

Friendly and hearty service is a matter of course.

The whole ground floor used to be a pharmacy/ apothecary, and this still sets the charming ambience today. The backdrop of the counter is built of the original shelves, complete with the labelled drawers, jars, pots, and tincture glasses.

The only drawback is, in winter, sitting by the window can be a little chilly.

No debeis ir / Dont go there. Who seems to be owner, lady about 60 years old with glasses ask me for my ID / Passport because I did not have cash money. Before I sat to have dinner I asked the polite young waitress if it was possible to pay with card and she told me yes but only with debit card. So I had my dinner and the owner told me no cards. I had to give to her my ID and go for cash. Very rude and not polite speaking only german. This is the worst scene in my 14 years travelling to Erfurt. VERY BAD !

Als wir am Samstag auf der Suche nach einem schönen Caffè durch die Stadt liefen kamen wir hier vorbei. Und waren von der stilvollen Einrichtung angetan. Da es sehr kalt war freuten wir uns uns aufzuwärmen. Wir kamen an und wurden platziert.
