Once upon a time, I was lucky enough to live close by. Back then Faustus used to be one of my favorite places to hang out, have a drink, and watch people. Now I live 5000 miles away. But every year I get to visit home. A stop at my old stomping ground is a must-do.

It's still one of the best people watching spots at one of the most scenic places in town.

Not recommended. We have to wait for an hour for our order.

We were here for breakfast after reading about it in the "restaurant guide" we got at the hotel. The food was"OK" , not particularly great considering the price. The coffee was so disgusting that we had to send it back. Our waitress was unfriendly. I cannot recommend this place and will definitely not return.

We liked the outside space of the restaurant and thought we give it a try! We ordered the bbq burger and the crispy chicken burger each with sweet potato chips. ( We saw others order it) We were told that the bbq burger comes medium and we ordered it medium. We had to wait for our order for over 30min and were given a well over done bbq burger with dry bread rolls and sweet potato chips beyond chrispy. The chicken burger was okay but the bread was also dry as ricecakes. For a setting in such a nice part of the city of Erfurt this place is not to recommended!

Fancy place with nice interiors, although burgers are at most average. Mine was cold inside, sos inside was just ketchup and the roll was typical of those from supermarket.

Expensive but warm and handy. Interesting menu and tasty.
