First (and only) IMAX Digital 4K screen in Dusseldorf for an amazing immersive experience. Rest of the screens vary from small to medium size and the experience is average as in most multiplexes. In addition to the typical snack/soda options, there are also a couple of cafes/bars inside/outside, which is a nice add-on.

What do most cinephiles universally dislike?

Dubbed languages over the original version.

I know I'm not alone in saying that I'd rather not watch a film at all than to hear it dubbed into my own language.

Given the above, you'd think this cinema would make it clear which language the films were being shown in, but after 15-minutes on their website and two unanswered phone calls, I gave up.

A quick look at their competitors website (Cinestar) and I was able to find this information in less than 30-seconds.

The result?

A loss of business for UCI.

Shame that I live so close to the theatre and will never be a customer over something that should be standard, especially in an international city like Düsseldorf.

We went there to watch DUNE. It was really nice. A bit to much commercial upfront( 20 min) but ok. Nice Seats in the IMAX room.

It is nice theater. Seat arrngement is just ok. Compare to the price tag of different seats, there is no countable difference between them. If, a tall person sitting in the front of yours, visibility is jeopardize and it is independent, where you have your seat. Even in the superior class fare seat. Staff is OK washrooms are somewhat clean. They neither have hygiene solution to wipe toilet seat nor to sanitize hands. Hall or theater is clean. They have also parking available fir customers. One can also take the tram to go there.
