We went for Dusseldorf for another restaurant, which was closed, and stumbled upon Pulcinella about 200 meters away. The service was friendly, attentive, and swift. The food was amazing! The ingredients were fresh, just the amount of dressing on the salad, and cheese on the pizza. We will most definitely return.

Worst customer service I had in years. We sat outside enjoying a sunny afternoon in the Dusseldorf old city. After ordering a beer, my wife took a few minutes to find a cocktail to her liking on the menu. Since our waiter was passing by with no interest to pick up the follow-up order, his boss overheard us and took the order for the cocktail. 10 minutes later we ordered food (a pizza and a salad) to the same waiter (we pointed to the menu as he had no idea what was in there) and he made a note on his notebook. 30 minutes later we asked him if the food order was coming and he said he didn't order anything to the kitchen. Being baffled, I walked into the restaurant to complain and he told me it is my fault if I ordered the drink with his boss (he apparently got confused?!). I went to the counter where his boss was, to complain, and he just looked at me with no reaction.
Needless to say I paid for the drinks and went. Never again. Unbelievable philosopy - it's the customer's fault...

Terrible service. We waited for over 2.5 hours for our meal and were then charged for water that we didn’t receive. The waiter was initially very charming and then became quite rude. They didn’t have many of the items on the menu. The waiter insulted my friend by insinuating that she was pregnant (she isn’t). A terrible experience that we won’t be repeating.

Well all was okay except for the rude (lady) waitress. Pizza was good but if you want to run a good business first of all you need to be polite and humble. 100% unacceptable.

Nice little trattoria located near the old town. Ordered the spaghetti aglio olio with tuna u0026 pizza mista. Tasty pizza and spaghetti is cook perfectly. Friendly owner and staff. Recommended place to eat if you're in the area and craving for Italian cuisine. Only downside is no English menu but overall still good.
