Very cute place with wonderful food. The lady that helped us was very friendly and helpful. There was a small miscommunication about apfelschorlen vs apfelstrudel, which she solved quickly and with a smile. The schnitzel with pepper sauce tasted great!

They serve beer and cake... at their pace.
We had to wait 20 Minutes in order to get the waiter to come take our orders.
The so called waiter had the was the contrary of what you would expect from a waiter : rude, not willing to help, minimum service(bringing the beers straight on the table and spliling it a bit without bringing any napkins).
Our glasses were greasy when the beer arrived in our hand.

The best part arrived for the payment.
European legislation requires you to indicate clearly when you do not have credit card option. Yeah you guess it right...
When I presented the card , the response we had was « Cash! Cash! »

So basically needed to withdraw cash on which I had to pay a fee for withdrawal as there is no indication of this Cash anywhere in the whole place.
It was clearly none of its problem for the fee and his response was « polizei »

Would definitely not recommend such a place.

Good lunch menu, only cash. Comfort german food with a nice service. It´s a good choice if you want to eat outside of the crowded area of the Altstadt without missing the spirit of the neighborhood. Only cash!
