I ordered Tsukemen which I never had it elsewhere. It came out two bowls, one bowl with the regular noodle without soup, and another bowl with only the soup. The noodle can be made hot or cold. You are supposedly to dip the noodles to the soup. But I ended up pouring the soup and mixed them together. The soup was thick and flavorful. The noodle was big portion. Maybe too much comparing to the volume of the soup. The service was okay not too attentive. But at the end when I checked out, the waiter handed me my receipt with both hands. So polite and humble. You don’t see it very often nowadays.

Having tried many ramen places in my life I have to say the ramen here is very normal. Ingredients were well-cooked but didn’t harmonize together in a way. Overall with the price you could definitely have better options in a city with many other Japanese restaurants to choose from.

Food: 4/5 all the food was hot and fast. Only wished that the vegan soyu had a little more in depth flavor.

Cost: 4/5 the ingredients were pretty good, however the vegan soyu ramen literally only came with one bakchoi. The pork strips were also thinner. Ordered an extra side of noodles and it was the right amount.

Environment: 5/5 good location in Little Tokyo. The inside was styled to a nice ramen shop. The wait wasn’t too back around 8:00pm… around 20 minutes.

Service: 5/5 get welcoming and answered all the questions that we had about the food.

Very authetic food, I personally recommend the tsukemen, which is a dish that is very hard to find anywhere else. Its a type of noodle that is not too warm, and you have to dip it into the broth which is in a different bowl. And when you dip the noodles, you can see how the broth stays on the noodles and when you eat it, its delicious

Such a Izakaya restaurant that you also can eat Ramen with good price in Düsseldorf.

Foods are generally not bad and service is also quick however it seems that waiter/ waitress are overwhelmed and upset. I likely go again even if they are busy because it is good place to enjoy Japanese food and drink but hope that they improve the pressured situation.

Very terrible experience! The staffs speak poor German/English. They didn’t make things clear and we were told that we couldn’t dine in after we waited for a long queue. Google maps says it closes at 10 pm but at the time we got the food it was like a quarter past 9 pm and they told us that we were not allowed to dine in. The staff was impatient and let us order immediately. The worst thing is!! There was HAIR in the noodles!!! It was really disgusting!! Our time in Düsseldorf was great but was ruined by this dinner.

Lecker Schmecker! An authentic Japanese restaurant near the Hbf with a great variety of yakisoba, ramen, chicken and rice dishes. The potions are very generous, one dish will suffice for most stomachs. Thy have Kirin beer draft and Japanese sake. You better go early because it will get crowded soon (a clear indication that it is worthy :) It is very well prepared for kids, with special chairs and cutlery. Give it a try!!
