What can I say, this place came recommended to us so we were excited to try it after days of very bland food elsewhere.

The evening got off to a bad start after ordering drinks from the quite rude waitress, almost 5 euros for soft drinks which is outrageous, the lemonade arrived and was obviously from a bottle that had gone flat, the waitress wasn't having any of it, wouldn't replace and kept insisting it had bubbles whilst pointing at the solitary bubble desperately clinging to life at the bottom of the very flat lemonade.

The food came, nicely presented, looked impressive and it was OK, you can't go wrong really with buying meat from a butcher and cooking it on a rotisserie? The 'roast' potatoes were warmed up and rubbery though.

All in all, I can't recommend, it's a tourist trap with some of the worse service I've had in a restaurant setting worldwide

This place does best what the name says: pork. Had an amazing haxe with beer sauce, potatoes and cabbage salad. It was amazing. The only point of improvement was maybe you put the sauce in a separate container because it ruins the crackling when poured over the meat. Definitely good value for money.

The roast pork knuckle is quite good, but to be honest a little bit salty. The sausage is not that good. The service and the atmosphere is nice.

The food was so amazing that I am thinking of visiting dusseldorf again just because I want to eat here one more time. Everything was perfect and so filling. Also affordable.

Didn’t have the haxe as we were not that hungry. Schweinebraten was a bit dry, way too less sauce…Schnitzel was okay. Based on memory, the haxe is huge and tastes great, and it always has a lot of sauce - had a look on the table next to us, it seems it has stayed the same.

Rates as the best pork knuckle In Düsseldorf, Schweine Jane do not disappoint. Simple and affordable but great tasting. Their pork knuckle and local beers make a great traditional lunch or dinner for the hungry. Limited seating so be sure to plan ahead or expect to wait

Very nice pork knuckle and also they provide English menu too. The waitress are also kind and friendly. also the shop offers us a free shot of sth.
