If it were not a restaurant, I'd say, first of all, great ambience! The decor is casual but not arbitrary. Everything is well selected for its laid-back effect without losing the taste of modernity and minimalism.

Since it is a restaurant, I'll tell you, first of all, the food is great! It's authentic, it's delightful, it's packed with flavors, it reminds you that there's a country in the world you should visit.

My friend and I love the vibe here. The service is great. We were told what to order to make it a better price value. We made a mistake while ordering a dish, the restaurant replaced the one we wished without charging us extra.

Delicious food, homey feeling, warm service, enjoyable chit chat with the owner... it was a wonderful experience to dine in Phox. And you should try it too.

Wonderful service, delicious taste and a great vibe! Hoping for variations in the broth (or even more flavorful) but they serve you with fresh herbs and with all the sauces you need to make it your own. Thinh and Sven are warm people, really loving what they do and taking care of each customer. Absolutely recommended!
I hear their dinner menu is v good too… next time.

The classic pho Bo is very tasty. You could tell the ingredients were very fresh. The portion is a bit small though comparing to the price. The service was attentive and friendly. They only take cash for order below €50.

A lovely and cozy vietnamese restaurant! We were a group of 10 and everyone was satisfied!
I tried Pho Bo and it was really good, they serve food with a "Homemade Chili Oil" sauce that includs two types of chilies, fried onion, fried garlic and oil, if you like it you can buy it in the restaurant! They also sell Vietnamese Coffee.
The service was fast and the staff were really friendly, when the weather is nice you can sit outside.

The pho soup was like warm but not hot..
pho that day was not so great ( perhaps we went on a bad time …
What was surprising was actually the first dish on Hauptspeise part. The sauce over their homemade egg noodles is really tasty!

A bit overpriced for the portion, especially for the Pho

I loved it. I've been here two times and every time I was just amazed by what I got.
The first time I ordered the lunch combo (available from 12-15 costs 14 Euros) I got 2 Summer Rolls, a drink (I think it was an ice tea) and the PHO BO classic beef.
Second time I also ordered the lunch combo, I got (this time 1) summer roll, the same drink and the CARI GA.
Both times I was more then just happy with what I got (especially for that price). Food tastes really good, authentic and fresh. Even the presentation looked good.
The service personal is super nice and the restaurant itself has a good vibe (toilets are also super clean).

The location is a bit hidden however that just makes the restaurant a bit more quieter (which isn't bad) and since the restaurant doesn't have that many seats you should think about maybe reserving a seat so that you don´t have to wait.

Summary: definitely one of Düsseldorfs hidden gems and I will definitely come back ????????????????????

Phox serves authentic vietnamese dishes at the highest quality. Especially the different kinds of noodle soup (beef, chicken and vegetarian) come with the highest recomendation. Delicius warming healthy and at a more than reasonable price.
Another big plus is the stylish ambiance, transporting the guests to similar small shops found in the side streets of asia. The final note goes to the frienly staff that always serves you with a smile - no mather how busy the shop is!
