A very basic and down to earth pub. You get alt and various shots here. Owner isn't the friendliest but he does his job. The atmosphere is very basic but nice for a "getting wasted evening".

Friendly local bar which we have visited for years mainly during Karneval. Away from main drag. Great altbier and good rock music thumping out.

If you visit Düsseldorf it’s a must visit. Cheap and extraordinary drinks. Try the Shot „Stress“ to fool your friends. The pub is in the central Altstadt and you are near to the club area. The staff is very nice and funny. My friends and me love this pub!

I really like locations like this, pubs with the charm of older days. Music was good and people seemed to be nice ... But why just 1 star ?
That's easy, even if you are an "old pub" it is a must to clean the glasses more careful, not just draw them thru water (not using any kind of brush or something) and then use them again for other customers, thats disgusting.
After seeing that we left the location immediately, and weren't to keen to take another beer. Sorry

No frills pub but fun, good rock music through the speakers, has a date board, friendly staff and beer is pretty cheap.

I love this place yes it dies leave you guessing when you order a guiness n see a smudge from the last user but hey after a couple of Stress your gut really wont care. N lets be honest. Youre taking more of a gamble grabbing a bite off one of those streetside "imbisses" on the Bolkerstrasse.
