It is nice. Good food and good atmosphere... probably also because it is Sunday, very early dinner (5pm) and it is not so busy. Many local old couples and families with children. Everyone looks happy, including the waiters! Thanks a lot for the good food and the nice chatting!...and the beer!..of course!

Solid German food and beer. And the staff was super friendly! Which is very surprising since they can come off as cold and direct at places like this when you ask some questions. Arrived at the place at 9PM, but they still allowed me to order food even though the kitchen was about to close in 5 minutes. They only had a German menu, but the waiter was kind enough to actually sit down explain and recommend some of the dishes. Went for the Mett Brötchen and Altbierbratwurst. Very solid and delicious German food ????

The Pork Knuckle was very tasty, even though most of us didn't want pork knuckle. The service experience felt more like begging. Having waiter after waiter walk past us and ignore our attempts to be served, no matter how hard we tried to get their attention. When one finally stopped to take our order, it was more like we were being instructed what we will have. The guy doling out beers was like broken robot just handing more and more beer even when we said no or nein.... Don't even think of asking for wine, if you want to live!
After that trying to get the staff's attention became a bit of a game that we had to laugh at, the only other option was to cry.
Sum it up, very tasty pork knuckle while being force fed beer and comically rude waiters...

I had a business supper with good old Schumacher beer straight from the source and delicious Wiener Schnitzler. It was air conditioned and quiet.

Serving typical German dishes and fresh beer! It’s better to ask someone who can speak German for making the reservation (not sure if it’s really acceptable in anytime).
Anyway we enjoyed a lot at this restaurant.

Absolutely amazing service, food AND atmosphere!!! My friends and I enjoyed a scrumptious dinner of baked pork knuckles, sausage platter, vermison goulash and marinated trout accompanied by a generous portion of sauerkraut and mash!!!! Schumacher Alt Beer is not to be missed here!!! ????????????
