Three stars for the good food and the rustic ambience. Not giving the other two for very cold and crazy hospitality. It was like the staff was waiting for us to leave. The service lady was trying to be so fast that she dropped food and plates from our table. Wasn't a pleasant experience in all except the food.

food portion was generous, service was good, but the meats were slightly overcooked.

aside from that the vegetables were fresh and grilled items were well done!

juice was not freshly pressed unfortunately but was okay for the price, likely the cocktails are the main draw here but we did not partake.

worth a try regardless.

Always love this place. We tried a new branch this time in the altstadt of Düsseldorf. The quaint and rustic feel of the place adds to the over all effect the food has on you. Prices are what one would expect to pay in this area. And staff were welcoming with quick service. We showed up with no reservation and did not have any issues. Although, we did show up at an odd time, in-between lunch and dinner and so it was not a problem. I suspect that this would not be the case at peak meal times. I would definitely recommend Casita Mexicana.

good place, delicious food. after telling the waitress that my beer glass tasted like dishwashing detergent - the waitress replied that no one had ever complained about such a thing before and did nothing about it. The service is not at a good level. No courtesy.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Food tasted great- Mexican is after all one of the tastiest cuisines. We had to go for non-meat options since we only eat halal meat. But both the gambas (bowl) and vegetarian (burrito) dishes tasted good. Also the hibiscus tea and spicy salsa. But we felt like it was too expensive compared to the portions/ingredients. The bowl could do with more rice and less salad leaves.

Noice!

The food is on par (thiccly) but plain overall, so you can't miss. The drinks are a great compliment to go with the food. Definitely try out the tequila and ask the staff for recommendations, they know whats good!

Incredible Mexican food. (The quesadillas are ????) the cocktails incredible… after Tuesday I have become a big margaritas fan. The staff is so nice and helpful will be coming back.
