The hotel is new
The service is very average
The waiters don't really serve. If you are more than one person they just put the food and drinks on the table and you distribute
In breakfast the selection of food is really good but don't expect anyone to come and ask what do you like to order or even clear your table.
No room service but they charge an extra 5 euro to bring your food to the room from the restaurant
Reception are friendly but don't make efforts.
Housekeeping is very average
But the hotel and rooms were clean.
From what i understand this is the way in the whole area.
To them that's the service and that is their idea of good hospitality.
When we travel a lot and see a lot you know the difference but you learn to accept it because the city has other strong points where they excel.hospitality is not one of them :)
All and all it's good

Perfect. Great location, clean modern rooms, and a really good slate of amenities. Only issue is that the breakfast is a bit expensive when there are cheaper options just around the corner. But all in all a great option. I don't stay anywhere else.

Holiday Inn Dusseldorf City is exactly what I look in a hotel.
The location is fantastic: Direct train to the airport, and 3 different tram lines that take you in the city center in 10-15 minutes (plus suited the purpose of my trip, visiting the Borussia Dusseldorf table tennis club).
The reception staff was fantastic: they checked me in when I arrived with no hassle though it was early, acknowledged my member status and explained everything perfectly and in English (as my German are very basic).
The breakfast buffet had good variety of hot and cold options and the staff there where very helpful.
This will be my go to hotel as I expect to visit Dusseldorf again in the near future.

3.5 rounded up. New, clean hotel. Breakfast is too expensive (21€)…and it isn’t even special. Got disturbed by housekeeping at 8am, she knocked and immediately opened the door.
Good location

Stayed at this Holiday Inn for a week whilst doing tourist things in the city.

Fantastic modern hotel with good facilities - the mini gym was really good and open 24 hours. The bar was excellent and a great place to unwind with a drink later in the evening. The Allgauer Büble beer was a revelation. Clean and fresh. Complimentary pretzels.

Executive room upgrade was good to have - came with a mini fridge with a daily beer and soft drinks. Also a Twix.

Car parking on site, under the hotel, pay at the desk on departure.

Hotel is well located in a nice area of modern flats. About a 10 minute walk to the city centre. Excellent.

Only a five minute walk to Casita Mexicana - that’s important. You’ll definitely want to go there. It’s fantastic.

5/5 would stay again.

Nice new hotel with clean rooms and a beautiful bar and restaurant. Staff was always very friendly. It’s located near to old town and Little Tokyo.

Small bedroom, but very clean. Limited menu, but very tasty and reasonable. Staff were great!
