I love this super market! It’s definitely something out of the ordinary in Düsseldorf. But when the opening hours says until 22:00 and you walk in at 21:15 you shouldn’t find an empty vegetable department. Everything except a poor cucumber had been put away. If the opening hours says 22:00 the entire store should also be open and available. But other than that, it’s worth a visit during the more crowded and fully stocked hours....

My hubby and i have recently moved from N. America to Germany and we are very happy to have found this grocery store. They have a wide range of selections of fresh meat and seafood, as close as we can get to a big supermarket in the US.

One of five restaurants within the supermarket "But Heide" (Sushi, BBQ, coffee, fast food and gourmet). Famous for the "fast dish" during lunchtime - a small plate with an entree, a main, a soup and a dessert for about EUR 13. A little on the expensive side but noisy of the times good quality for a decent sized dish.

Always fantastic, always making a special effort for our daughter. I still find it ridiculous that this is - by far - the best restaurant in Benrath!!
