Quaint and cosy restaurant with great food. Lovely ramen with generous portions. The kimchi ramen was a highlight, not sure if it is a permanent feature of the menu though.

Give it a try!

My favorite Japanese restaurant in Düsseldorf. Every dish of the menu is delicious, the staff is very friendly and they have always a smile on their face. The restaurant is small but very comfy, I love the environment of it????

My personal recommendations are Shoyu Ramen, Katsu and Kaarage Curry and Teriyaki Chicken!

This was my second dine in visit to Umaimon so far. But the food has always been consistent whether for dine in or takeaway. Reasonable variety of ramen, curry rice and side dishes. Taste and quality always on point! We also had an egg allergic person with us which might seem tricky in a ramen restaurant, but they had plenty of options for him. Dishes we had today: Tako Kara Takoyaki, Miso tori soba

This ramen place serves the chicken bone white broth type ramen ( so you won’t find those typical ramen like shyou; miso; tonkotsu in here )

For the taste ,
It is great , personally i think that here is better than other ramen shop, ‚takumi chicken n veggie‘ in the city Centre , which both also serve chicken broth ramen.
The noodle texture is good , less strong alkaline taste.

Tasty vegetarian gyoza, normal u0026 miso veggie ramens oozing with umami flavours???? served by friendly staff. Queue of local Japanese started at 5.15pm for 5.30pm opening…what better clue to find a hidden gem!

The best japanese curry ive ever eaten!!! It is very very good, and you should try it too. Sadly when i went there the signature ramen is out of stock and the normal ramen is taste somewhat normal, i dont say it bad either but just okay in my opinion. But the curry is a whole another level, the chicken katsu is really crunch and make you wanna eat more. If you come here a curry is a must

FOOD u0026 DRINKS
Another day, another visit to a Ramen restaurant in Düsseldorf. I went with the recommendation and ordered the Mali Tora Soba. The soup was very oily. I would say a bit too much for my liking. It also wasn’t really spicy just in case you are afraid it will burn your tastebuds. Instead it was more fragrant and I strongly believe the reason for that is because of the famous Chinese chili oil they added to the broth. In particular the one with crisp chilis. The minced meat did not have too much flavor. Overall it was still a nice bowl of ramen.

SERVICE
Unfortunately the service felt rushed and busy.

ATMOSPHERE
Sadly they still haven’t opened the restaurant for dining inside.

RATING
Personally I would only come back again if I can eat inside the restaurant to enjoy the Japanese flair and I would skip the recommendation and try something else. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t special enough.
