Whistlestop tour in Germany and this placed matched all expectations of Germany despite being a Greek restaurant. Great food, great beer and a mens toilet that for some reason includes a seperate bar and a betting den.

Nice place for a morning coffee (frappe), reasonable prices, friendly staff, Greek meeting point!

I wanted to have a coffee at Remvi. I had to wait 25 minutes till the waiter brought me a menu, though there were almost no people there. After waiting another 20 minutes and observing the waiter chatting with other waiters and totally ignoring me, I left to the bar across where I got my coffee in 2 minutes, though it was much more full!

So today me and my wife arrived in dusseldof and parked in the park house opposite. We decided to go in for a drink and a bite to eat. My as we entered my wife wanted to use the bathroom first. While I was waiting for her the waitress (I think she is Spanish) approached me as asked what I would like. I told her I was waiting for my wife to before I order. She said something disapprovingly and and walked away l wasn't sure at the time but I thought she was looking at me in judgmental way however I put it down to me being tired ????.

On my wife returned I decided to use the washroom. When I returned me and my wife were discussing if we should stay or go to a seafood restaurant. I wanted seafood, my wife wanted to stay. The same waitress approached us and in a very unpleasant tone asked us what we wanted to order. I looked at my wife and in that moment we decided to leave.

We then told her that we were leaving. To which she demanded €1from us for using the toilet. I couldn't believe it and asked her to repeat. (I've served almost 15 years in Germany and I've never paid to use a washroom except for the autobahn where you get your money back at purchase). I refused to pay her and told her to call the police. She then tried to get her colleague involved but she didn't. At this point I just walked out.

This café has the perfect location, the facilities a very good and though I didn't have something to eat or drink there I could see what was being served was quality but as a blackman. I won't be going back as I could tell the reason for it.

mood is really good
i like this place
but staff is heavy smoker...
giness is not alt just giness beer. dispointed..
but tastes good :)
