City Hotel

As a backpacker I am not looking for luxury when travelling, but just decency. Still this hotel was very far away to meet my expectations:

- the bed base was smaller than the mattress, therefore was easy to fall while sleeping.
- the duvet cover was burnt
- the fire alarm of the room was covered by a plastic bag and a sock (...????)
- in the shower we had to choose between boiling water or freezing water - normal temperature not found
- someone open the door or the room at 10am without even knocking the door while we were sleeping....
- the pics of the website does not correspond at all with the reality

Location was ok, not in the center. The street is busy, it can be a pain to unload luggage. No hotel parking, the parking garage is nearby and 10€ a day. We stayed in the Apartment room, it was a great size for 3. The pillows were flat, the carpet could use a good cleaning. The worst for me was the shower, there is mold on the seems and the water pressure is terrible. Wouldn't stay here again, but it was fine for a cheaper hotel outside the center.

Comfortable room, awesome location and very friendly staff. You will find gummy bears on your pillow as courtesy :) In addition, they gave me a metro ticket for 3 days. I didn't even have to spend money on transport. One suggestion is to improve the breakfast. It could be more complete next time.

Good price, parking garage is around the corner. Staff spoke fluent english. Breakfast was fine.
Noisy rooms, very small escalator.
Anoying when a drunk/tipsy guest walks via the stair to their rooms in the middle of the night...

Really dirty rooms, especially the bathroom. The bathtub had yellow stains all over and it really looked as if nobody has been cleaning it with real detergents for a while. The only plus is the location.

Average hotel, rooms are not big but very clean, breakfast doesn’t has many choices, nice staff, WiFi is not working so good

Dirty rooms, noisy street right before the hotel. My room smelled like poop even after opening the window for 5 hours straight. Would not recommend to anyone.
