Dies habe ich als Info über die Karmelgemeinde in Duisburg nachgelesen:

Mein erster Eindruck war, den mich der Blick, ins Kirchen-Innere anzeigte, ein Guter Eindruck... Irgendwie Modern, aber auch irgendwie alt, so kam mir der Kirchen Innenraum vor...
Die Südfassade der Kirche hat fast ganz flächig eine aus hunderten kleinen Glasfenstern bestehende licht durchflutete Wand, die wohl aus Beton besteht, also ein moderner Baustoff ist. Die als herkömmlich bekannten Kirchenfenster auf der West, und der Ostseite der Kirche scheinen altertümlich zu sein...Das wohl ganz in Holz verkleidete Deckengewölbe passt von der Optik her nicht ganz zu einem Neuen Baustile. Diese Kirche ist ein Bauwerkmix, der aber harmonisch zusammenpasst.
Diese Kirche, scheint mir etwas besonderes in der katholischen Kirchenwelt zu sein. Ich habe sonst noch nirgend wo eine Karmel Kirchengemeinde getroffen.
Im Internet habe ich jetzt, viel über die Karmelgemeinde nachgelesen, obwohl ich im Duisburger Norden wohne, hatte ich keine Ahnung von dieser Karmel-Kirche, ich kannte sie nur vom Namen her, ansonsten war sie mir unbekannt gewesen...
Auf der Internet Seite der Karmelgemeinde in Duisburg, gibt es Kirchenmusik aus dieser gemeinde zu hören. Das kann ich jeden der so etwas gerne hört, nur empfehlen. Viele Kirchenlieder kann man sich hier anhören.
Heute wo ich diese Zeilen Schreibe, ist der 26.02.2022 und die Ukraine wurde in einen Kriegszustand versetzt, was wir, so, nicht für möglich gehalten haben... Das gesungene Kirchen Lied der Karmel Gemeinde mit dem bekannten Titel " Sag mir wo die Blumen sind " hätte ich einer katholischen Kirchengemeinde nicht zugetraut. So etwas steht natürlich in keinem Liederbuch der Kirchen. Wenn so ein Text in der Kirche gesungen wird, dann muss das eine Modern ausgerichtete Kirchengemeinde sein, davon bin ich jetzt überzeugt. Wer den Lied-Text nicht kennen sollte, sollte ihn sich unbedingt einmal anhören...Eine katholische Personalgemeinde als Praktizierende kath. Kirche, das scheint doch Veränderungen im positiven Sinne mit sich zu bringen.
Diese Kirche werde ich jetzt öfter mal besuchen...Gut dass es noch offene Kirchen gibt...
