We were staying in the hotel it was very convenient the food was good the paella was very good the vegetarian dinner portion baked potato and vegetables it was not good the vegetables were nonexisting and a baked potato with smothered with some kind of cream probably sour cream and potato have been cooked earlier so I was not happy with that the bread service for the beginning of the meal was very nice and the sorbet was very good this is supposed to be a Michelin star restaurant so I expected more the waitress was very nice and it was very pricey

Very nice restaurant. Food was delightful! Staff was very nice. The bread on heated stone was very fun idea.

This place promises more than it can provide.

We found this place through the Michelin guide where it has been awarded with the Bib Gourmand and therefore our expectations were high.

We came in to the nice dining area and were shown to our table by the friendly and welcoming staff.

We wanted to have 4 servings with wine pairing but stopped after 3.

In general the ambitions were high, but the quality didn't come through, neither the food or the wine which was stuck somewhere in the past decade.

The food was under seasoned to our taste. The meat was overcooked and the dishes plain and not well composed.

The staff didn't even know the grape or region of the wine they were serving and with their limited English we had not idea of what we were eating - this is of course not something we can expect in a German restaurant, but it just added to the negative experience.

The pricing was way too high for what you got. Half of what we paid would have reflected the food we had better.

Slow, bad service. They put water bottle on a counter off table, nice touch but i had to get up and cross the room to get more water. Ordered the 4 course meal because it had coq a von as main dish. Tuna tartare was fine, soup ok but the coq a von was the worst I have ever eaten. It was cooked and i was hungry, so i ate my boiled chicken seared in red wine. The dessert was awful, try sticking to 5 elements not 10, work on flavors not design.

A Classy and Stylish Ambient in the avant garde Restaurant at Innside by Meliá Dresden.

The hotel himself is very new and the entrance to VEN is located at the side street which is facing an empty construction site. Thats why we were left alone in this large and very beautiful venue.

We were escorted to the window seat by the Bar (yes, facing the side street and the ugly construction zone) eventhough we wished to have a seat by the other window facing winter garden. The Staff said, its only for Dinner which was quite hilarious.

Anyway, we were handed in the Menu (by a new and totally unexperienced Staff on Trainee) and we picked Caesar Salad, Pumpkin Soup and Pasta. All was very nice (taste n presentation) except too many Anchovies in my Salad.

Apart of the unsatisfying service (too much excuse for the staff) Price/performance ratio is excellent!
