Very good location. Quiet location although in city centre. All Dresden's attractions in short walk distance. Tram stop nearby. Very nice and helpful staff. Tasty and substantial breakfast and dinner.

I had a really nice time at Holiday Inn, and I recommend it.
I was in the hotel during my birthday, and they surprised me with a birthday cake in the room. Thanks for the kindness, you made my birthday special.
The hotel has a nice breakfast, the staff is friendly and rooms were cleaned. They provide a baby got, once it's requested.
The hotel is 5 min walking to zwinger, one of the main attractions of Dresdren, and you can easily reach the city center, restaurants and cafes by foot. There is a 5 min walk Rewe(supermarket).

From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. I was able to park my car near the hotel entrance, then was met by the front desk staff who all spoke English well and helped me to unload the car. The hotel appears to have been remodeled recently plus my room was larger than expected and included two large comfortable chairs. The Internet connection was easy and fast. The two men at the bar were also friendly and helpful. There were always enough people at the front desk so that there was never a line of people waiting.

Nice hotel with a really good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. City center is reachable on foot or by tram.

We enjoyed our five days in Dresden. It had been a year exactly since we were last there. We love staying at this hotel. It is very convenient to the town, either on foot or by tram. The staff are always helpful and friendly. This year it was great to be able to sit out on the terrace again. I hope the situation will improve. It was great to be able to sleep and have peace and quiet. The hotel is in a very quiet location and there were no disturbances. We look forward to returning this year.

Stayed there for 2 nights. Staff was really friendly. Check in and checkout was super easy going. Our rooms were nice but a little small but totally sufficient for our time and purpose. I loved Breakfast.. Selection was huge and tasted great.
I did subtract one star since there was no free water in the room, only from the minibar. I asked for water at the front desk to fill up my bottle. The receptionist then took my bottle and filled it with lukewarm water. Not sure where she got it from.
But overall I can totally recommend this place.

We visited historic Dresden and this hotel is literally just outside the Palace and within ten minutes of the Opera. We were upgraded to the Executive Suite, which was roomy for a hotel room in a large city. The bed, as in all Holiday Inns, is excellent. The breakfast was great. There were German rolls, wursts, and cheeses, as well as American eggs and the best bacon I have eaten since I was a kid and Dad made ours in the smokehouse on our family farm! Staff was absolutely superb, gave us tips for touring and shared great deals for Hop On, Hop Off busses and local trams that are available to tourists. As we left the hotel or reentered each day, staff at the front desk waved and greeted us like we were celebrities. This is the BEST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I've enjoyed in my lifetime. Our stay in Dresden will be cherished for years to come and this particular hotel leads the reasons we love this city and will return again!
