Amazing stadium and one of the main sights in Dortmund! It is located at the outskirts of the city and reaching it is not that easy. There are a lot of fan shops and food stalls surrounding it. It is very calm if it isn't match day. Overall, a great attraction.

Incredible atmosphere! For my first time at a German football match, I couldn’t have imagined how good the atmosphere is. Stadium is super tall, which adds to the feel of the place, plus deafening chants from the ultras. Could not recommend visiting more, and I would defiantly pay to go again. Beer is also not a rare sight, which adds even more to the enjoyment of the match.

Had a wonderful stadium tour and the staff is very friendly.. you get to be and feel like a real BVB player for once..

Horrible admission. The four small entrances crammed together at the same spot with no que or order what so ever. Inside the stadium they had opened up so you could choose by yourself if you wanted to go on lower or upper deck. With this freedom a lot of fans whom had tickets for Upper came down to lower. This resulted in dangerously close quarters on the lower. Combined with the entrance to lower deck is not two man wide and this could have been Hillsborough all over again. One whiff of panic and people would have been crushed. That panic could have happened when the stadium guards let Brøndby/Dortmund fans not one but twice fire pyrotechnics up onto the stands. Luckily nothing happened but this is a disaster waiting to happen

Amazing stadium! It's definitely worth visiting it, if you're a football fan.

Huge stadium, perfect for big events. Cleanliness not at the top in comparison with other big European stadiums I’ve visited. Not far away from the town centre, very good connection with city transport.
