One of the best sights in Dortmund! Dasa is a truly unique museum dedicated to the various different kinds of jobs. It is a big museum with a free entry! There are exhibits about pilots, machinery, production, relax, etc. Moreover, kids seem to love it. The main attraction in my opinion is the production robot which executes commands and sort of dances! I haven't seen anything like it, it is truly unique. I will definitely remember it. Dasa's only disadvantage is it's terrible location. It is far away from the city but it's still manageable. Overall, a must-see museum in Dortmund!

The DASA exhibition was great fun for our son, just because of the awesome construction playground in the middle of the exhibition. Besides being there for most of our stay, we also had fun with the other parts of the exhibition. There where things we hadn’t seen in a while and our son had never seen. A lot of things were playfully made, so kids could try them out. What most impressed us, was the Kuka Robot, that showed the speed and precision of factory robots. If you have kids it’s a full recommendation. ✌????✌????

Really Cool place for all age groups.

Lots of things to see and perhaps experience it.

All the information and guidance can give a exposure to the work on many themes.

A locker is provided to store backpacks.

Temporary there is no entrance fee.

Nearest public transportation is Dortsfeld sud.

I took that train from Dortmund Hbf -u003e S1

I recommend visiting this place in Dortmund.

The most underrated attraction in Dortmund. This place is full of amazing interactive exhibition items including a flight simulator and a letterpress. Almost everything in the museum you can touch or play with! I spent about 2 hours here and it was definitely not enough time to explore it all. It's all in German but luckily I had a German friend with me to translate. I think without him I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much because there's lots of interesting info you miss out on.

Fun activities that also help learn about the different working worlds. It's well maintained and clean. Lockers are available for storing your bag and jacket during the visit! Bathrooms are clean too! Great for groups, also very fun for kids!

FASCINATING place to visit and see how people did things. I HIGHLY recommend this place for any and all tourists visiting the Ruhrgebiet area, and for natives of Dortmund, as well. I was especially fascinated by the weaving machinery, in operation as I watched.

Really interesting museum, it's huge though so make sure you plan a full day. Lots of interesting things to see, just one thing to note though, none of the signs or films are in English so you may not be able to find out as much as you'd like if you can't speak/read/understand German. Be sure to check out the 3d demo of the International Space Station. Amazing!
