Fortunate find in Cologne! This quiet oasis is connected to the train station and sits in the shadow of the cathedral. The food was delicious. I ordered the weekday special, two courses (main + dessert) for 19.90 euro - worth every penny! Service was professional, friendly and genuine. I will definitely return! If you're reading this and can suggest other "Old World" style restaurants inside train stations in Europe, please pass on your knowledge. I'm hungry to find more depot dining like Wartesaal am Dom.... :)

A very nice quiet place, comfortable and spacious. Spent a couple of hours having lunch and preparing for a meeting. Enjoyed the food a lot. Very friendly staff.

Gorgeous place, nicely located and great beer. If you go there in a summer night, seat outdoors and eat looking at the Dom. However, it is expensive and the three-course menu isn't enough for a hungry person.

Great location and stunning interior. Perfect place to break a journey. White linen tables and leather sofas .

My review is really 3.5 stars.
Atmosphere is really nice, well lit and well decorated.
The reason I gave 1 less star is because we didn’t realize how expensive just 0.75L bottle of water cost: €8.90..we got 4 without thinking it would be THAT much for such a small bottle.
The rest of the food prices were decent. Food quality was average (7 out of 10).

Beautiful restaurant right below the Cologne central station. Lighting at night was really pretty. The food was great but on the pricey side. The service was amazing, rarely had such a caring person taking care of us in Cologne - Thank you Christina!

Very nice restaurant u0026 bar with excellent location right next to the Dom. Very friendly staff.
