Context: Stayed here with my wife and friends in Jul-2022. Arranged at short notice after Airbnb let us down.

Pros: On Brusselerstrasse, part of an area with lots of good restaurants, and easy to get to centre of town. Desk staff friendly. Room windows can be open completely which is much better than most hotels. Breakfast included. Reasonable outdoor seating area.

Cons: Bed set up was different to our booking. One large flat pillow. Had to ask for towels. Quite loud until late on a weekend. Few power sockets - glad I brought a runner socket.. Limited place to store cases. Not comfortable to sit around in room. Door says best prices offered inside; desk staff said best prices offered online (and the online prices were about 25% less).

Overall: Probably a little overpriced, but would be happy enough to stay here again..

Beautiful hotel, simple but effective. Small rooms but with all you need. Staff is friendly, breakfast is rich. No restaurant or bar but the neighborhood has got all you need from restaurants, kiosks and supermarket (aldi). Close to many means of transportations that unfortunately do not load well on Google.
They cleaned my room despite me not hanging the "clean my room" ticket and so i felt kinda disturbed by having found all my things moved. Note i only stayed a couple nights so the room couldn't have been in tremendous need for a mandatory cleaning after only one day.

The hotel is in a really convenient location close to public transport and close to the city center.. However the room we had was a different story. We were on the 5th floor but the elevator only went till the 4th. In itself not a big deal. The room was off okay size a bit on the small end compared to most hotels. The room had no cooling so with summer heat it was close to unbearable. The shower cabin almost felt like it was falling apart. The double bed was actually a twin bed moved next to eachother but you can clearly notice the room was not made for it. The only power sockets in the room ended up in the middle of the bad. Sadly cannot recommend this place especially when the temperature is above 25c.

I canceled my reservation in 10 minutes after payment had been done. There were very noisy in the room because windows look out to the restaurant kitchen. I need to have a rest and to drive next day long way to France, so I asked to cancel reservation and to refund me my money back.
I have printed document that refund was done. It was 6th of April and still I didn't get my money back. I wrote a lot of letters to this hotel providing all information that they asked. I called to them but no result. It is looks like cheating. Never turn to any hotel of this hotel chain tripple inn. There administration whants still your money.

I loved the location of the hotel. Many transport are available. However the rooms were extremely small and the cleaning could be improved.

GREAT location, near many restaurants, clubs, city center of Cologne is very close aswell,

Breakfast is OK - eggs were cold when breakfast just started

Good basic hotel. Some rooms larger than others though as our party had a few so we could compare.
Only one flat square pillow per bed with no spares in the cupboard that we get used to with the British budget chains.
No kettle in the room! I need 2 brews before I can move in the mornings.
Front facing rooms can be noisy, we went in December. Would hate to go in summer when the windows need to be left open.
Breakfast was good quality continental style food.
Price was great and only 25 mins from the airport.
