We booked dinner with a school group. The bartender was very pleasant and friendly. The person responsible for serving and managing the dinner however was stressed and not friendly. We helped him cleaning the tables because he looked a bit stressed. And even that he could not appreciate... I would not recommend to host such big groups for dinner if this is hard to manage. After a long day in the city you expect to be welcomed a bit more.
The food on the first evening was very moderate, namely a rather small portion of pasta.

It matches the description of hostel..a no nonsense hostel. Narrow corridors, small washrooms and ample of showers. Its really nice not to have bunker beds; so I could easily talk to other people in the room And share experiences. The showers don't have timers like many, so also could have a long shower without pressing the button multiple times. They also have restaurant and bar, which can be very crowded on Friday night. The location is the best; just near to station.

If you're looking for good location on a budget then look no further. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Big number od showers on each floor so at least I did not experience lines. Nice pub downstairs. I am taking one grade off as bathrooms could be cleaner.

Large and extremely 'lively' hostel. Rooms/dorms don't have bunks but single beds which is great. No self catering facilities whatsoever- although there is a restaurant that does breakfast and evening meals - however it wasnt open one night we were there. The food we did have was pretty nice and although not cheap - reasonably priced. The facilities were adequate.

Pretty uncomfortable place to stay in even if it's just to sleep, especially if you're given one of the beds that are right in front of the window (which can't be closed because there's no AC or ventilation system). The location sure, it's centric, but it's not the nicest neighborhood to stay in and honestly, I'd rather stay a bit further away from the central station and be in a nicer area.

Staff all really friendly (shoutout to Sam and Diane(sorry for the spelling mate)), they are more than happy to help with any questions you have. Very chill vibe in the bar and beer garden. Food really good, better than most of my meals in the city- even people who weren’t staying here came in just for their meals! Recommended for people travelling on a budget. Also, alcohol is really cheap here so that’s always a bonus!

NOTE: If you are not prepared to potentially have some annoying or loud roommates then don’t stay here, it’s a hostel not a hotel !!

I enjoyed my stay at the Station Hostel. Made new friends. Clean bathrooms and bedsheet. Clean room. Everything maintained.

No kitchen to cook something, instead you'll have to buy things from their cafe and bar, which I didn't like.

Stayed in a 6-bed dorm for 1 day.
