2 Insect bites turned nasty during Rhine cruise. Went to the hospital late PM expecting to just get anti-biotics prescribed. Highly impressive hospital. Triage to examination in 90mins, Blood tests, Xrays, diagnosis, admission, all documentation in English, operation booked for next day. Private room, operation done on time, discharged day after in time to get originally booked flight. Everyone totally professional and most spoke great English.
If you have to be hospitalised on holiday in Cologne go here!

I had an emergency visit to this very well equipped hospital on 17 August, where my first finger on my left hand became dislocated while in Paris as we were headed to Cologne the previous day. I was referred to the hospital by American Express. I called the hospital and an English speaking doctor said to come to the Emergency Room, which I did. After an x-ray the doctor called for an anathesologist to put me to sleep, so that the doctor could reset my finger, which was about half way toward the middle finger. When I woke up the doctor said she took another x-ray to affirm everything was okay. She said to return the next day (Saturday), which I did. They rewrapped the 1/2 cast supporting the hand to almost the elbow, which I'll be with until it is removed on 28 Sep.

Can you imagine, all that attention and care and the bill was only €204.76, which I'll submit to my insurance company when I get back to Hawaii on 5 Sep.

I wish to rate this great Hospital FIVE BIG *****

The treatment I received in the ER was exceptional, I was checked very quickly upon arrival and treated in a very efficient and caring manner. Later when I was stable I was transferred to the Monika Ward. They were thorough in their investigations and all without exception were very friendly, helpful and kind. The doctors gave me precise instructions and made sure I was clear about treatment and follow-up care.

Wunderbare Erfahrung mit dem Hildegardis-Krankenhaus.

Ich hatte vor kurzem einen einwöchigen Aufenthalt (10.02.22-16.02.22) in diesem Krankenhaus wegen eines Asthmaanfalls. Die Behandlung, die ich in der Notaufnahme erhielt, war außergewöhnlich, ich wurde bei meiner Ankunft sehr schnell überprüft und sehr effizient behandelt und fürsorgliche Art. Später, als ich stabil war, wurde ich auf Station Monika verlegt. Sie waren gründlich in ihren Untersuchungen und alle ohne Ausnahme waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und nett. Die Ärzte gaben mir genaue Anweisungen und stellten sicher, dass ich mich über Behandlung und Nachsorge im Klaren war .
Ich möchte allen Mitarbeitern und Ärzten, die sich in dieser Zeit um mich gekümmert haben, einen großen Dank aussprechen. 5/5

Ich war seit 2019 bereits mehrmals im St. Hildegardis Krankenhaus. Ich wurde jedes Mal bestens beraten und medizinisch sehr gut versorgt. Es wurde ausführlich über die Behandlung, Risiken und alternative Behandlungsmethoden informiert. Das gesamte Ärzte- und Pflegepersonal war dabei sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Das gesamte Team ist sehr nett und empathisch, sodass ich mich jederzeit gut aufgehoben fühlte. Vielen Dank, dass meine Aufenthalte trotz Krankheit, angenehm waren.

The head of surgery, who also operated on me, gave me detailed and understandable reports, was very friendly and pleasant and, above all, very competent!
Conclusion: If I had to do it again: I would choose the Hildegardis Hospital in Cologne again and I can therefore highly recommend it! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

In aller Eile bei einer akuten Blinddarmentzündung habe ich über Google nachgeschaut, welches Krankenhaus in Köln die beste Bewertung für die Notaufnahme hat und bin so auf das Hildegardis-Krankenhaus gekommen.
Ich kann die sehr gute Google-Bewertung voll und ganz bestätigen: In der Notaufnahme musste ich nicht warten, wurde freundlich behandelt und sofort gründlich untersucht, wobei die Krankenschwester und die Ärztin sehr ruhig und freundlich waren. Das tat gut!
Es ging dann auch ziemlich schnell weiter, so dass ich direkt von der Notaufnahme in den OP gebracht wurde. Hier lief ebenfalls alles bestens, so dass ich mich später auf der Station auch schnell wieder erholt habe.
Der leitende Chefarzt der Chirurgie, der mich auch operiert hatte, hat mir ausführlich und verständlich berichtet, war sehr freundlich und angenehm und vor allem sehr kompetent!
Fazit: Wenn es denn noch mal sein müsste: Meine Wahl würde wieder auf das Hildegardis-Krankenhaus in Köln fallen und ich kann es daher sehr empfehlen! DANKESCHÖN!
