Rightfully called one of the best bars in the world! We tried different cocktails (signature u0026 classic) and every single one was delicious and a piece of art. The Whisky sour was really one of the best I’ve ever had.
We will be back whenever we come to Cologne again, thanks !

Wonderful bar! Professional and friendly service, a great and extremely creative menu and unbelievably good drinks!

Loved the garden, which was even cozy and warm thanks to the heaters.

Friendly, fast service in a cozy atmosphere. Drinks also very good, some with great presentation. Loses a star from me because my Sazerac was served with an ice cube. Luckily, I was able to remove it and still enjoy the drink. Would happily visit again.

The drink quality in this bar is incomparable. Volker and his team never cut any corners - they work with the greatest quality ingredients available and create memorable cocktails. The offering is seasonal, which I appreciate, and combines first rate domestic products such as in-season fruit with international top shelf spirits. The biggest praise I can give: I have had the privilege to visit many times and believe that this experience matches or surpasses any international bar you put against it (and trust me, I have been to many first class bars around the world). Some reviewers comment on pricing. Like-for-like, I can guarantee you are paying a fraction of what you would in e.g. Hong Kong, Singapore, San Francisco.

I "went" there last Saturday 30/04/2022 and at the door I was blocked from the bouncer of the bar who told me there was no place inside. That sound very strange to me as I called 10 min earlier and they told me that even if they don't get reservation there was room for 2 guests, we might have only wait a bit. But, as the bouncer understood that we were not German he act very racist towards me and my friend,saying that we could not get in. We asked to check if there were places (even people was coming out from the bar), but no chances. I can't understand still racims because we not German. We left the place very disappointed. I kindly invite the management of the place to reconsider whom to employ, or maybe this is simply the policy of the place.

We told that we can sit different place/table, like two groups. But he didn't accept. Because as the bouncer understood that we were not German he act very racist towards us, saying that we could not get in. We left the place very disappointed. I kindly invite the management of the place to reconsider whom to employ, or maybe this is simply the policy of the place. Rasism is everywere.

I don't know why, I couldn't write a comment under your answer. That's why I'm adding my comment here.

I'm living in Cologne for 4 years and it's not my first experience. I believe in my experience, not your words. If you think otherwise, you can advise the doorman to be more kind and friendly.
We consisted of 3 artists and two academics. So we are educated enough to understand what we are feeling and what we are facing.

Imagine, I felt so bad that I wrote a comment about a place for the first time.

One of the fanciest bars I’ve been to! Great choice of cocktails, great service and atmosphere! Highly recommend once it’s open again!
