Ich war erst skeptisch, weil die Hochschule "halb-privat" ist. Meine Mitstudierenden waren aber alle sehr nett und lustig. Weniger nett und lustig waren die meisten Dozenten. Hier erwartet einen zu großen Teilen der elitäre Bums den man erwartet. Die zwei Sterne sind den wenigen Dozenten gewidmet, die ich mochte. Ich hatte das große Vergnügen coronabedingt spontan online studieren zu dürfen. Die monatlichen Gebühren, welche unter anderem die Nutzung der Räumlichkeiten umfassen, wurden nicht angepasst. Den Winter 2021/22 haben wir in völliger Isolation verbracht. Dafür kann die Hochschule zwar nichts, allerdings hat man als Student*in auch nichts davon, wenn die Dozenten (ja nur männliche Form) davon schwärmen was man im Normalfall alles tolles gemacht hätte. Ein paar Semester und eine diagnostizierte Depression später, gibt man mir beim Prüfungsamt auf die Anfrage der Verlängerung der Thesisbearbeitungszeit aus gesundheitlichen Gründen, die unschlagbare Antwort: "Das lassen wir nur in wirklich schlimmen Situationen zu. Wenn Sie z.B. einen Autounfall hatten." Hat während der Coronazeit die Studenten komplett im Stich gelasssen. Konzepte für das das online lernen sind komplett gescheitert. Es findet kein richtiger Austausch hierzu statt.
Während andere Universitäten, als auch Hochschulen um die Studierenden zu entlasten Freiversuche angeboten haben, gab es dieses Angebot aus Seiten dieser Hochschule lediglich einmal in nun 3 Jahren Corona. :)

Leider sehr amateurhaft, zu mal das Niveau der Klausuren angehoben worden ist da nun die "Studierenden mehr Möglichkeiten haben" den Aspekt der durch die Professoren die lediglich einmal die Woche eine Online Vorlesung hochladen (Hut ab, großer Aufwand und dafür entschädigt werden) und dadurch keine wirkliche Einführung in Ihr Fach geben wird außen vor gelassen.

Zwei Sterne gibt es weil die Hochschule vor Corona noch In Ordnung war, mittlerweile lediglich mangelhaft und daher keinen Schul-, als auch Berufsabsolventen zu empfehlen.

Ihr seid da anderen Universitäten, als auch Hochschulen gerade im Kreise rund um Köln besser aufgehoben.

Hierbei handelt es sich lediglich um eine Objektive Meinung natürlich. :) Dies war jedoch die Erfahrung die ich zu dieser Zeit machen durfte.

Sehr unkompetente Studienberater bei technischen Studiengängen.
1 Semester (Elektrotechnik) fertig studiert. Fazit: Dozenten sind diplomierte Lehrer. Noch keine Professoren in Sicht. Die Kompetenz der Dozenten lässt zu wünschen übrig(machen z.B. häufig Fehler in den Vorlesungen oder in Scripten), manche Dozenten sind Ausländer deren Sprachkenntnisse nicht ausreichen um deutsche Fachbegriffe zu vermitteln oder komplizierte Sachverhalte zu erklären.Hier spart die Hochschule anscheinend an gut ausgebildeten Lehrkräften. Man fühlt sich eher wie in einer Berufsschule, wo alles vorgekaut wird. Man kommt z.B. gleich mit Beispielen daher und versucht irgendwelche Zahlenergebnisse auszurechnen ohne die Theorie und den Sinn dahinter zu erläutern. Die Lehre entspricht nicht dem Hochschulniveau.
