A great experience and well worth doing if you are in Köln and it is inexpensive, only 5€ one way and 8€ return for adults. There are other rates for children and for groups. I would certainly recommend it.

The cable car ride was fun. Great views across the journey. Nice and relaxing good value for money. Blessed with good weather, we could enjoy beautiful, breathtaking views. Enjoyed it tremendously. Highly recommended.

This was nice experience for my sister and me. I should also say that price was affordable. If you visit Cologne, I would absolutely recommend this activity here. This will be fantastic experience for you.

Found out about it accidentally when was walking in Skulpturenpark. Decided to go for it did not regret it. It was really nice, the weather that day was very good, the queue was quite big, but it went surprisingly fast. I was expecting to be higher than 4,60 - one way. Two ways - 7 euro. I enjoyed the view on Köln from above and then had a nice walk in Rheinpark on the other side.

One of the best views of Cologne has to be from the cable car that crosses the Rhein from RheinPark to Riehl. If you like planning your day, you can start off by wandering through the Rheinpark, catch the cable car across the river, spend a lazy day at the zoo and finish it off with watching the sunset at the botanical gardens.
For the best panoramic view of the the city of Cologne, take a ride on the first and only cable-car system in Europe designed to span a major river. In operation since 1957, the enclosed gondolas cross the river beside the Zoobrücke (Zoo Bridge) between the Rheinpark in Deutz and the zoo. You get a great view of the massive cathedral and the river traffic along the Rhine. The trip takes about 15 minutes each way.
The Rheinpark is home to the “Cologne Rhine Cable Car” Kölner Rhein-Seilbahn, which offers an unforgettable panoramic view of the Rhine for everyone.
