Pros: Location is great. Room was big. Shower was amazing. Staff were polite. Clean and good pool.
Cons: We were excited about staying in a hotel with plenty of restaurants and shops. Unfortunately, they were mostly closed. The hotel seemed empty (though it wasn't), strange atmosphere in that sense. The lift didn't work properly.
This hotel has an unbeatable location and great potential, it could do with some refurbishing.
The breakfast buffet for €25 seems like a rip off. There's a nearby café that does it for half the price.

The staff at the reception need some customer service training. Not friendly during check-in/out.
The safe in the room was not accessible to store valuables, we contacted the reception desk by phone and email they never answered either. The room was large but a bit dated.
The bathroom however was nicely updated.
Breakfast was good, a nice variety of
breakfast food and beverages.

Perfect location! Close to the Ludwig Museum and the Dome Cathedral. We enjoyed the wine market. UNIQUE! A very impressive hotel like this one because of the big and great infrastructure must have a good hosting service. When we get to the main entrance there is nobody to help you and welcome! It has restaurants and bars inside, a hostess will sell the amenities. MARITIM Be aware you need it!!

Very nice hotel. It has a pool and sauna that my kids and I enjoyed after touring Cologne. The breakfast was better than I had hoped for. We would stay here again easily.

Despite the high service, the hotel is typical 80s and needs a serious update. Rooms are spacious but outdated. Location is fine as well as all the facilities. During breakfast I made friends with a mouse as well...

Excellent hotel in the centre which was convenient for sight seeing. Amazing breakfast with a wonderful range of food. I would have liked prunes for my breakfast though! Best shower I have ever seen or used.

The location makes the hotel worth the money. They have an underground parking where you pay 24€ per day - CASH ONLY at the machines in the parking or card at the reception (and the machine was not accepting our 50€ bill) . The rooms are a bit old - therefore having an outdated ventilation system - but generally it was clean.
