Das Ambiente der Einrichtung innen ist nicht sehr schön, aber das Essen ist super lecker, egal ob Vorspeisen oder Hauptspeisen, man findet gehobene Küche als auch gute italienische Hausmannskost. Die persönliche und sehr freundliche Betreuung durch die Inhaber (es sind bestimmt 3 Brüder oder noch mehr?) ist einfach toll und herzlich. Hier spürt man den Flair von Süditalien noch richtig. Die Terrasse draußen ist sehr schön gemacht mit Pflanzkübeln. Wir fühlen uns hier immer sehr wohl.

Ja, was soll man hier sagen. Draußen sitzt man ganz nett, die Bedienung war freundlich aber das essen war leider nicht besonders gut. Mein Steak zum Beispiel, war erstens nicht Medium sondern innen noch roh und außerdem wurde es bestenfalls lauwarm serviert. Massimo, Pino und seine beiden anderen Brüder führen das Restaurant mit einer sehr hohen konstanten Qualität und Herzlichkeit, die es gegenwärtig nicht mehr so oft zu finden gibt. Insbesondere das Kölner Gastronomieumfeld ist durch einen hohen Convenience Anteil geprägt, den man natürlich im L’ Ambiente vergeblich sucht. Handwerk, Herzlichkeit und das solide Preisniveau überzeugen und sprechen für sich. Daher meine absolute Empfehlung.
