This hotel has quite a few pros and cons
Pros:
- the location is very good, everything in the city is nearby and easily accessible
- the room is very nice and cozy
- the bathroom has environmentally conscious messages on the soap bottles and the shower is spacious enough and cozy
- the matrass is AMAZING, I slept great
Cons:
- this hotel is not ready to call itself a contact free hotel. We had a LOT of trouble checking in, we received a stressful mail while traveling to the hotel that our reservation would be cancelled if we didn't pay before 6pm that day even though I had talked to the staff before about not being able to pay beforehand. I was guaranteed that I could pay with my card at the hotel, but this was not true. I had to pay with mastercard online, but I couldn't do that, so I was told I could pay with PayPal but was charged more for transactions costs while this was not said beforehand. Because there is no staff at the hotel, I had to call the reception quite a few times before I finally received my room card, after being told by the check-in machine that we could not enter our room, for no reason at all.
- there is no knee space whatsoever on the toilet. Also, since the rooms get cleaned according to how long your stay is, it's very possible to run out of toilet paper, and if you don't find a cleaner who you can ask for a new roll, you're out of luck.
- there is no fridge. A mini fridge would be handy.
All in all we've had a pleasant experience but there were a few bumps in the road that could have be ironed out.
