Friendly, good food, good beer, good service. We had the Himmel und Aard and the Knusprige Schweinshaxe which were both delicious. The Schweinshaxe had lovely crisp and tasty crackling; it was huge and had enough meat on it for two meals, but they let us take the remaining half away with us in a bag.

Not bad, but very disappointing to leave the restaurant with 2,40 as a forced "tip" on the bill. Not seen anywhere a warning or mention of it on the menu or so. It leaves a bitter taste after a nice lunch.

Good beer and food, but inconsistent service - can be rude at times. Perhaps best to come outside of peak hours.

Wonderful restaurant and comfortable :) great german food. Clean and beautiful. Good service and kind people. I've been there already two times and will go there as soon as possible again. I suggest the Salad and the soups are also great. I went there the second time extra to get a lentil soup, but they did not have it anymore :( which is sad. But you can fine other great meals

Overall a great place to enjoy a beer and dinner if you like.
The atmosphere is casual with people in uniforms, suits, relaxed.
Service is tip top, they understand your needs and cravings.
The beer and food is Gaffel Haus!
The bar will stay on my bookmarks for future trips here.
