Cozy, clean room. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Close to shops and easy walks to attractions.

Basic room but very welcoming, great location, friendly staff (they left us a go-bag since we had to leave before breakfast was available) and in general a great value for the price.

We had 4 rooms booked for August at a very cheap price. They were booked almost one year in advance. 5 months before the trip date, the hotel contacted us telling they couldn't host us anymore and canceled the booking. After the cancellation, they had those rooms back available for the same dates, but at triple the price. Very disappointing and unfair treatment, which left us with no other option to cancel our trip and lose our non-refundable flight tickets.

Very basic hotel.
The location is great, close to everything. Shops are 2 minutes away.
Breakfast included, very basic but it is better thank nothing. It was also cheaper than a hostel.
And that is it, there were no double bed in the room, it was impossible to communicate with the receptionist and everything seemed so old.

Breakfast included. No. Guy just say I'm starting renovation tomorrow. You'll not have breakfast at all. Tip: Take a breakfast at train station close by. Always call before as they close reception at 18-19. if you have late arrivals by plain from airport etc. They won't read e-mails at all. Anyway.. Cologne is getting crazy within trade show calendar. 500 EURO for regular double / three nights. Location good.

Good place, cheap, but you have to pay extra 10€/ for a car parking. Problem of communication with the reception service, as English is poor sometimes, German not spoken sometimes and the one holding the reception is more Chinese speaker. But rooms are ok.
