This hotel feels like you are visiting your grandmother.

The place looks like your grandmother's house. The place smells like your grandmother's house (don't know how they did that). And like at your grandmother's place, you share the bathroom with the family (floor).

The guy at the receptionist is your actual grandmother. What a loving, caring and incredibly sweet lad. Best service around.

And for 45 bucks in the center of Köln, that ain't gonna be beaten.

By the way, take the breakfast! Great for an added 5 bucks.

Nice hotel in walking distance from main station，breakfast looked nice. Three floors with 5 rooms each so not too large. Rooms were a bit oldish, some parts dirty. But all in all good value

Very good price for the location (3 mins from Koeln HBF, so if you travel by train, this is ideal). The hotel allows you good connection to many landmarks as well as a S-Bahn station (is it called S-Bahn? I hope so lols). From the outside it looks rather modest, but the interior is amazingly cozy - I must say whoever decided to pick those particular pictures to decorate the walls has a great taste in art. Vibrant colours occupy the view and it's an enjoyment walking upstairs and down looking at those paintings.

The room is quite big and everything is super clean; windows are huge so very good light and ventilation. There is even a TV - I did not expect that so it came as a good surprise! Many power sockets for charging and they are located in smart spots, so that's a plus. In general, the hotel gives a sense of nostalgia and it's like living in Grandmama's.

Front desk staff - I have been assisted by three of them - are all very friendly and even offered to carry my luggage upstairs to my room once it was ready (cuz my train arrived quite early and it was not a sensible time to check in; I left my luggage with them and went out to explore Koeln, only coming back to find out they placed it very nicely on the rack in my room). The still water they sell tastes amazing so yeah don't miss that out either.

I do not recommend this Hotel! Please be careful. When you cancel your stay in FREE period on site, this hotel charges your card anyway. Be aware, they have hidden tricky unfair rules. It is said on site "cancellation is free", but then they charge your card anyway. Never book this Hotel

very good positioning: 5mins walk to the railway station. I would recommend taking the breakfast: it's pretty cheap for what you get. Our room(in the basement) wasn't even close to the standard nowadays: very tiny bathroom with moldy ceiling. Cleanliness is an improvement point, with thick spider webs. Walls are quite thin, so if you're unlucky to have noisy neighbours, then you'll have a long night.
If you book a garage spot, you ought to know that those are very tight, so a challange to park.

close to everything in very good price. very tidy and clean. superb service by the reprionist. helpful. breakfast good value at 6 euro only! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A cute and convenient place to stay with very low prices. The service is really supreme and the rooms are very clean. Breakfast is available and also is a garage slot which is done on the booking. It is just a five minutes walk to the cologne main railway station. Absolutely loved it
