We found this lovely pub just off the corner of neumarkt near Bertram and frank - nice outside area friendly staff willing to have a chat and a laugh with guests. We got the schnitzel with mushroom sauce and fries came with a side salad, generous portions and tasted amazing. You don’t leave hungry.

Great old style pub, great service beers always topped up and cold. Food was good abit on the large size, have been here a few years ago and the schnitzel was better then.

This is my second time eating here and I have been looking forward to our return. Food was great however our waitress was exceptionally rude.

I have a Debit MasterCard and was told that I am wrong and that it is a credit card and will have to charge 3% instead of 1%. I really don't care about the 3% but I don't expect to be told that I am lying and incorrect about my own bank account.

Please speak to your 'Bank Card Expert' as this is pretty much a stain on my Cologne visit and your customers don't deserve to spoken to like this.

Nice Brauhaus-type restaurant with Cologne local food fare and other traditional German dishes. They serve a variety of beers, with and without alcohol, and have some wines on the menu. Very friendly waitress and, in general, a pleasant environment. Very reasonable prices.
It took a bit of convincing upon entering that my CA/USA triple vaccination QR code plus ID satisfy local Covid 3G requirements.

The prices of bier are ok, but the food is around 30% more expensive. The Schnitzel that I had was not from a good part of the meat, I could feel some nerves, and the texture is not so nice as well. When I was there, there wasn't enough unites of Menu, my friend and I had to divide the same Menu. It wasn't crowded and the food took around 30 minutes to arrive.

Very well served “Scnhitzel Wiener Art” and very good Kölsch beer. Friendly people.

Super - even they weren't supposed to be open they opened anyway Friendly service and the drinks were ok.
