Nice place for day out and picnic.
Can swim in lake public toilets available, large parking lots.

Unfortunately very full, but the good thing lake is also very big so you may find a corner which is not crowded.

Beautiful area and clean lake that one can swim in. I camped in this idyllic spot for the annual Summerjam festival. It is a shame that the festival organisers and the local council don't do anything environmentally conscious during this time. No recycling points, not enough bins, urination points, similar to Amsterdam because by the end of the festival it reeks of urine everywhere. Germany has an amazing track record for being an environmentally responsible nation, it's clean on the whole where ever you go. Cologne is beautiful and friendly. If they can come up with more echo friendly solutions to cope with the annual impact of huge crowds during this time, it would be amazing because Germany is beautiful and German people have been very friendly to me

Nice place to enjoy with familiy, friends and alone. Good for swimming and grilling. Really recommend in sunny days.
There are many Parking if you go early.

Relaxed atmosphere, lot of people on hot summer day. No services except mobile toilet.

The best lake in the region, big, lots of nature, clean water, has a good infrastructure, with restrooms and restaurant, and a beach club (with artificial beach) as well.
