Usually a good experience here. The staff is friendly and helpful even across the language barrier. Sense that being a pet aficionado is a prerequisite for employment here. Larger than other stores of the same brand in the city, the selection is larger as well. Some of the more refined or occasional needs therefore can be met here where not others. Open late on Saturday, and dog friendly (maybe cat friendly too - but have not witnessed that).

I have visited this store a lot during my short visit to cologne! I LOVE IT!

The staff are super friendly, they may not speak english very well but somehow we can understand each since we are there for the same purpose.

This store is so HUGE and it has everything your pet will ever need! The prices are okay and the items are super amazing quality.

I will be sure to visit this store every time i visit cologne-Germany!

I am so incredibly upset after my experience today: I was buying cat food and heard three employees saying VERY rude things about someone named “Jamie” who is supposed to be arriving later this week (referring to this person as “Gewöhnungsbedürftig” and “Ekelhaft”). I was so upset by what I heard and tried to tell one of the employees at the register, but they were instantly very defensive, screaming “ich kann nichts machen, da sind Sie bei mir falsch” on repeat. I tried to ask her if she felt that it was okay that her fellow employees were talking so badly about someone, ESPECIALLY so openly in front of customers, and she wanted nothing to do with me. I couldn’t believe that she wanted to wash her hands of me so quickly. I left crying because it was just so wrong, I never expected to leave a Fressnapf feeling this way. Whoever this Jamie is, I’m so sorry you have to meet these people this week. For everyone else, stick to ordering online, the employees here are very rude, heartless people.

Nice place but the service staff is a Buch of teenage boys who loudly discuss their private matters across yhe shop instead of helping clients.
