A place worth visiting on your trip to Cologne. A paradise in the city with free parking right next door (although it is a bit small) or on nearby streets.
you also have fairly clean toilets and at least two different exits for the botanical, the main entrance of course is impressive!
In the building inside the botanical there is a cafeteria where you can enjoy your coffee.

Very beautiful garden. Highly recommend to visit if you are in Köln.
The garden is free and well organized. You can have a relaxing walk inside.
It’s not too hot in summer neither because there are trees along with the paths.

Really lovely shady place to visit in the summer. Many types of trees and shrubs. I imagine it's beautiful when the camelias are in bloom. Lovely water features and red squirrels to admire. Would have given 5 stars but the large tropical house was closed due to rebuilding.

Great place to visit in Cologne. It is free with a lot of parking options around. The only thing we missed was more signs in English around the garden but it is totally worthy

Beautiful place. Can take a relaxing walk around the gardens and really relax and unwind. Very well laid out and lots to see with all the plants.

Heaven on earth! So beautiful, so well maintained, such a diversity of flowers and plants and I even saw a little mouse, a rabbit, and a few squirrels, one of them nibbling on raspberries, such a wholesome experience.

Great park, even during winter.

A large botanical greenhouse is currently under construction, expected to be finished in 2022.

Free toilets are available on site.
