Amazing place! Outdoor area is cozy and spacious, indoor seating is comfortable with tasteful music. Staffs are helpful and friendly, good selection of food comes quickly with nice quality.
Definitely recommend!

I was staying in the hotel next door, great location at the corner, you can sit in or out, the food was good, My daughter liked the cafe as well.. if I lived there i will definitely be a regular

We had a really great breakfast at Cafe Schmitz!
The staff was very friendly and the place is very quiet and peaceful.
Perfect to go for late breakfast with friends on a weekend.
There was a bit of a wait, but in the end the food was very nice, so completely worth the time we waited.
It wasn't expensive at all taking into account that the amount of food per plate is quite big.

I had a simple breakfast there. They were fast, polite and everything looked and tasted fresh. It's a good place!

Cosy place with very friendly staff and a nice selection of food and drinks. The cakes are a must-try! Even after years of going there I still love the vibes and the diversity of people there. This is a Cologne’s original - pretty much reflection the soul of the Veedel ✨
