Pretty mid hotel. Room was clean, but lobby is completely under construction but didn’t start until later in the day, so I wasn’t disturbed. Wasn’t able to store my backpack anywhere before and after check in. Location is fantastic, close to restaurants, shopping and attractions.

This place is not a hotel.. it is an apartment building managed by an unfriendly, unhelpful and rude man. This place does not offer luggage minding services so when my partner and I arrived at midday after hours of travelling imagine our surprise when the building entrance was locked and noone was there to greet/help us. When we called the number on the door, the owner was rude and abrupt, "2pm check in, no luggage service, can't help"... how is this a "hotel" standard?... it's not. This "hotel" should send their guests an email or message letting them know this isn't part of their service instead of expecting people to read the fine print. Other travellers also arrived at the same time as us with the same problem and were forced to sit at a nearby Cafe and wait for 2 hours. I could have forgiven the lack of guest services if it weren't for the rudeness of the owner. Needless to say we booked elsewhere, an actual "hotel" with basic guest services. PLEASE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.

We used it only to spend night. In price was included "breakfast" but no eating area, which didn't bother us, just so You know. . . Decent clean room, bit small and overpriced for that size but great location. 2/10 from us. Also, one review said sth for artwork, I totally agree! ????????

Tl;dr: had a nice time, good location for a good price, but if you're looking for more than a place to sleep, try somewhere else.

Pros: Great location in the old town area, central to Cologne. Good free continental breakfast, very tasty, especially the cheeses. Lady at reception was lovely. Shower very powerful and warm. Very very clean and tidy throughout the hotel.

Cons: no kettle in room for tea/coffee. No lamp beside bed. No lift to other floors which would be difficult for anyone who has limited mobility. Shower unfortunately was not in a tray so did leak over the bathroom floor very quickly. Maybe consider changing the artwork in the room.

Totally unacceptable welcoming. There is basically no reception. Your only way for a communication is via the door bell. No luggage room, no late check out. The window of the the room was not able to be fully closed. Being their in a windy night in the middle of February and the whole night I was listening the wind and feeling it. The heating system was not turned on when I arrived and window was opened. I had to turn the heat on and go out to find a warm place for a dinner and wait for the room to become warm. At least the rooms and baths are clean. But totally do not recommend to anyone.

Clean, and well kept. Lots of outlets in the room. Small bathroom but great water pressure for the shower. Super close to everything. So close to the cathedral that you can almost feel the bells. Two parking garages close by for parking.
