It’s not a tourist trap, doesn’t look touristic at all. Good food at decent prices. Staff was nice and polite. A classic german restaurant.

Great food and beer. One star less for the waiter who made "a mistake" while paying the bill. 20 euros...Come on, we were not so drunk...

Excellent schnitzel (which is a chicken cutlet) offered in several styles. The server described that their speciality is the mushroom cream sauce and boy, was it delicious. The kolsch beer, which is also from Cologne, was fabulous. Excellent service. We also had the curry wurst which was like a big hot dog meat with delicious savory curry inspired sauce.

Tasty Schnitzel, good Kölsch, but most importantly: calm. Usually Brauhaus are so noisy you can't hear each other at the table, but here it was really lovely. Great service too!

Ordered the Lunch menu of Knödel with a vegetable ragout and it came as Knödel in a mushroom sauce. Mushrooms were not advertised on menu. Was asked if an alternative would suit and and then billed for both meals.

Great dining experience in a local flair and with a familiar atmosphere.
You sort of have to look for this restaurant which is slightly detached from bus/metro stations: the visit is however worth the trip.
Typical german (and Cologne) dishes at a medium low price but with great taste.
Service is professional and efficient. 9
